About RZGRizhao Garnet Ltd (RZG) as the name implies, is a new rising global leading manufacturer and supplier of Industrial garnet abrasive beginning in 2009. A major strength of the company is the huge size of its garnet deposits and therefore, its ability to supply the market with a safe, reliable, consistent for a long time. RZG has discovered and acquired three exceptionally large (over 250 million tons totally counting over 85% of total China discovered garnet reserve) garnet deposits grading over 80%. All these three properties were intensively explored for Rutile in the 1980s by several major exploration companies. The high grade garnet content was discovered at the time.These three most favorable eclogite deposits are the Rizhao Mine, Weifang mine in Shandong Province and Lianyungang Mine in Jiangsu province, which are all in Sulu UHP Metamorphic belt, one of the 28 UHP Metamorphic belts that is largest in size and best protected. In addition to garnet, also contains some million tons of Rutile. The presence of rutile will significantly reduce the cost of the garnet product to a level which competitive with common abrasive for sandblasting application, like coal slag, copper slag, nickel slag, glass beads, silica and etc. The garnets in all our three deposits are all rock almandine (almandite) variety with a hardness of 7.5 and S.G 4.0. It crushed into sharp angled, chunky fragments ideally suited for aggressive blasting.The establishment of our first dry processing plant in Rizhao in 2009 was a significant milestone in establishing the production of RZG Rock Garnet as high quality abrasive with high mineral purity and proper quality control. Around 30 employees are working in our production plant on more than 59000 square meters. The plant has undergone various technical and equipment upgrades to keep up with the increasing demand for RZG Rock Garnet with substantial investments were made.Available RZG Rock Garnet is in various sizes from coarse, medium to fine mesh.
